North Korea lands first man on the SUN!
The state news agency of North Korea has reported that they have successfully managed to land a man on the sun!
This is a truly remarkable effort from the small eastern country.
The news site claims that Hung Ill Gong left for the sun at 3am to start his 4 hour journey to the sun, where he would pick up sun spot samples to give as a gift to their leader. North Korea has risen to the top of the global space rankings due to this marvellous mission.
Of course, this is only another one of the soviet countries propaganda stories to make the leader of the country a very powerful leader, and intelligent, but of course this is not true, as many of you may know, it is impossible to step foot on the sun due to the intense heat and not to mention that it is a lot longer than 4 hours away.
This did not stop North Korea from making this a story though, although this story was actually created on the 21st January 2014, it has been going viral over the past few days due to Facebook and Twitter users sharing and retweeting this.
Although obviously presented as a hoax, Canada Free Press actually published this as a genuine news story believing that they had just done the impossible, they also later mentioned that they had never heard of the original website and believed it was a genuine story. (Oh Canadians, ey)
The original story can be found here.
The follow-up hoax story can be found here.
What do you guys think? Is this possibly real and we just have no faith in the small soviet country?
